2017: Senior Album – The Road
The sixth spread in the Senior Album showcases pictures that were taken in the middle of a road. It is hard to believe – but we did not see a single car on this road the whole time that we were taking these shots.
I purchased the large letters that spells my son’s name at Hobby Lobby on clearance – I couldn’t believe my luck that they had all the letters that spelled his name! For this spread I used my sewing machine to stitch the photos directly onto the denim background paper without a border – allowing the stitching pattern to serve as that instead.
I added a double border, a torn edge paper border and a lighter blue denim piece that I stitched with an arrow pattern to give the spread movement. I had to use stitching on this spread to affix the elements because the denim background paper does not work well with adhesive tabs.
