2018: Indiana Road Trip: Lilly Laboratory
As part of our tour at Eli Lilly we were able to go through a recreation of the original company factory building which was very interesting. Most of the collection is not original to the factory, but is era appropriate. However, the desk that you can see in the pictures is one of Eli Lilly’s original desks that he used.
I used background paper that is reminiscent of industrial factories. For the left hand side I used a jagged tearing tool to create the border and then a strip of “brick” paper to create a method of holding in the brochure which can be removed to be read. I used this same paper to border the pictures on the right hand page.
I used my Cricut Machine to cut out the Lilly logo, this time using left over scrap antiqued paper, to fit in with the theme of this spread.
