2018: CSA – Wendy and Peter Pan
During the Spring of 2018 my son helped with the flight rigging for the Community School of the Arts production of Wendy and Peter Pan. I attended the opening night performance, and since no photos were allowed during the production, what are on these pages are pictures of my son with the actors and producer after the show.
I chose the colors for this spread based on the program – orange and purple. This program is affixed to the outside of the plastic page protector so that the viewer can open it to read. Since the photographs are dominated by the orange of the stage curtains, I balanced the page out with lots of purple and pink in the embellishments, which were cut using my Cricut machine. Can you believe that the Peter Pan cutout was one of the pre-made options available within the Cricut collection?
I used a purple dominated antique map paper background, and hand drew a treasure map complete with an “X” on it to fill out the theme.
