2018: Hotel Del
After my conference in the Los Angeles area I went down to San Diego to visit my friend Stephanie for a couple of days. One evening we took a drive to Coronado and visited the Hotel Del and beach. This spread has some of the pictures that I took during the sunset – I probably took about 50 photos and these were the ones that I thought best told the story.
I chose an orange theme for the spread to highlight the colors of the sunset. I found the graphic on the right hand page of the Hotel Del iconic roof line online and then used my Cricut Machine to cut it out. I used the leftover ring from the graphic on the left hand page as I thought that it added some interest to that page and drew ones eye in. I used a jagged edge tearing tool to create the rough borders on both sides of the spread.
