2011: Rocky Mountain National Park Hiking Trip – Ephemera
This is the last spread of our 2011 Summer trip to hike in the Rocky Mountain National Park. It contains ephemera from our trip that did not make in onto the other pages. I usually create a spread like this as the last single or double page in a vacation series.
The left-hand page has some hiking patches that I did not use on the other pages, as well as some pine needles that my son collected from our campground. The background paper is a map of the national park that I purchased at a local scrapbook store.
The right-hand page uses a background paper that I purchased at the local scrapbook store that has been turned into a pocket (See Pocket Creation How to) to store maps and other brochures that we picked up on our trip. This makes it very easy for the viewer to take them out to read them.
And to tie all of these spreads together – this last spread also has the metal deer brad (2 of them) – were you able to find them on all of the pages?
