2019: Tampa Vacation – CCCU Conference

I thought about whether I should create this spread, and after creating it, wondered if it was worth sharing on this website. Both times I decided that it was important to have this spread within the pages/blogs about this trip, because it shows the reason that I was down there in the first place.
The institution that I worked for at the time was a member of the CCCU and they have a conference every year in February. I didn’t take any pictures at the conference, other than taking pictures of some PowerPoint slides with important information, so I instead built the spread around the conference program which is attached to the outside of the plastic page protector so that it can be opened and read.
The left-hand page has the logo of the CCCU which I cut out of a plastic folder that was given to me with information at check-in. It is transparent and so I used my Crop-A-Dile Big Bite Punch to punch holes through it and the background paper so that I could use brads to hold it to the spread.
The background papers and borders were chosen to compliment the colors of the logo and the brochure. The border edges were created using a jagged edge tearing tool. While this is a very simple spread, it does highlight what I was doing in Tampa in Florida.
