2011: Saugatuck, MI Weekend: Star of Saugatuck
Another adventure that we had while in Saugatuck was taking a cruise on the Star of Saugatuck II. The cruise went up the river and into a bay and then turned around at the inlet to Lake Michigan.
As you can see from the pictures on the righthand page we got to see many cool homes and the Keewatin Steamship from the deck of the Star of Saugatuck II which is a paddle boat.
I chose a traditional nautical patterned background paper to pay homage to the lakeside town and the paddle boat. The lefthand page has a card with a print of the steamboat, and it can be opened from the top to reveal a picture of my son on the main deck. I created an opening in the plastic page protector so that the photo could still be under the plastic page protector (How To Instructions).
Also on the lefthand page are our tickets, and a neat copper postcard which I purchased at the paddle boat gift shop.
