2021: Tulsa, Oklahoma Road Trip – The Gathering Place
This is the second spread from our exploratory trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and shares photos from The Gathering Place. This is an incredible public park in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and includes indoor and outdoor spaces that are friendly for all ages, and all abilities.
The left-hand page shows pictures of some of the outdoor areas and is themed in green to match the colors in the photos, the title border which I cut out from a map of the location, and the green TravelOK.com sticker in the middle of the page. I got these stickers as part of signing up for Oklahoma tourism, partially so that I could explore the state, but also to encourage students at my university to explore the world around them as well. I chose the green sticker for this page as the building that you see in the top left-hand corner is the boat house and stores Kayaks and paddle boats.
The right-hand page is themed in blue to match the TravelOK.com sticker in the middle of that page which represents museums. The pictures on this page are from indoor locations at the Gathering place and include pictures of some really cool collections of items. I used a jagged edge tearing tool to create the torn edge border on the right side.
Recently, for most of my scrapbook creations I have also created videos that show me putting them together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
