2021: Disney – Animal Kingdom

This is the title spread for our day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Each of the parks has a central icon – and for the Animal Kingdom is The Tree of Life that you can see in the pictures on this page. This is a man-made sculpture that houses the 3D interactive movie “It’s a Bug’s Life” and also features over 300 hand carved animals into the trunk and roots of the tree. There are several photo sites, and these two pictures are of my son and I from two of them.
I purchased the graphic on the left-hand page on Etsy and used my Cricut to cut it out using colors that complimented the background papers which came from a Safari cardstock pack. The tree on the right side was cut using my Cricut machine from the same background paper as is used on the left-hand side. The contour border for both graphics is the same dark green to help tie the two pages together. In the next few days, you will see the leftover cutouts from these graphics show up on some of the other pages.
I put a thin brown border on the two photographs to help them stand out again the busy background.
Currently, for most of my scrapbook creations I have also created videos that show me putting them together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
