Europe Vacation: Barcelona, Spain: Olympic Stadium and Castel De Mont Juic

Europe Trip: Barcelona, Spain – Olympic Stadium and Castel De Mont Juic
On our second day in Barcelona we visited the 1992 Olympic Stadium and a fortress, Castel De Mont Juic, which was built in just 30 days in 1640 to defend the area. This was a difficult set to design because the two locations were so different. One was modern and the other very old – one for sport and one for war. I decided to use a green theme to match the grass that was so beautiful at both sites. To complement the white Torre De Calatrava (The Olympic Tower) I bordered the pictures on the left in white. I used border scissors to cut the border of the journaling on the left page, something which I do not do very often anymore – this was an experiment, and I do not particularly like the look of it.
