Summer Road Trip 2017: Beale Street & BB King’s Blues Club
While in Memphis I wanted to enjoy Beale Street and get a local dining experience. After exploring Beale Street for a while I decided to have lunch at BB King’s Blues Club. The food was good and the atmosphere was entertaining and engaging. My schedule did not allow me to visit at night, which I hear is a louder and packed experience. I enjoy a quieter scene though, so it was perfect for me.
For this spread I chose a music theme, which makes sense for the Home of the Blues. The left hand page is actually the left over paper from another project where I cut a heart out. So I put some red textured paper behind it and it makes the page look complete. I bordered the photos in red to compliment the heart, and then used my Cricut machine to cut out the images of the guitar and heart.
