2009: Youth Flag Football
These two spreads remember the experience of my son participating in youth league flag football. This first spread highlights the team photos from the season. I chose football background paper for the spread. The two photo cards on the right hand side came with rounded edges, so I used a corner punch to round the edges of the larger pictures as well. The red stripe on the left hand page is actually the flag that was my son’s for the games that I added to the page. Each of the stars means something, but I have no idea what – but I assume they were awards.
This second spread shares pictures from the various games that the team played. I used an oval cutter from Creative Memories to cut the photographs in the shape of footballs. My favorite part of this spread is that I used ribbon to thread the stitching on the right hand page. I made the holes with my Crop-A-Dile Big Bite Punch, and then carefully threaded them to make the football stitching pattern.
