2018: Ludington North Breakwater Lighthouse, Michigan
During the summer of 2018 I took a trip to visit my son who was working at a camp in Michigan. As part of the trip we went to see the Ludington North Breakwater Lighthouse, which apparently is one of the most popular lighthouses in Michigan to visit. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed being in the cool breeze coming off of the lake on a warm day.
I took the wide panoramic shot at the end of the breakwater and decided to use it in this spread. It was actually wider than 24 inches and so I had to cut off a little bit of the edges to get it to fit on the spread. All of the pictures are bordered in a solid blue to help them standout against the “waves” background paper. You will notice that the borders match the colors from the lighthouse brochure which is affixed to the outside of the plastic page protector so that the viewer can open it to read.
