2018: Walt Disney World – Magic Kingdom
In July of 2018 I attended a work conference at Walt Disney World – isn’t that terrible? After the conference was over, a colleague and I stay an extra day so that we could take in the Magic Kingdom. I have been to the Magic Kingdom many times (2001, 2008, 2010, 2013) but it was fun to go with someone who had not been before. I made 5 spreads from this short trip which I will share over the next few days.
For this opening spread I used background and border paper from a Disney paper pack and a sticker from a Disney sticker set that I had left over from the 2008 Disney vacation scrapbook. My favorite part of this opening spread is the large Mickey Mouse cutout that I cut using my Cricut Machine. I had the old Disney Cricut Cartridge which I have linked to my Cricut account and so I was able to use Design Studio to cut it with my Cricut Machine, along with the date in Disney Font. I love the picture of the Space Mountain dome under the storm clouds that moved in for a little bit.
That storm didn’t ruin our day at Disney, but it stuck around the next day and delayed our flight by 8 hours which made for quite an adventure in the airport.
