2010: Fall and Winter

2010 had been a pretty full year up until this point with trips to Missouri and Florida, and so when I went to scrapbook November and December I realized that we had hardly done anything worth scrapbooking in those two months! So I combined two events in two different months into this one spread.
The left hand page showcases a trip to a farm at harvest time, where we had opportunity to bounce on a large Baloon trampoline and take a trip down a zipline, as well as a hayride. I used a Fall pumpkin background page and some embellishments from a “fall embellishments pack” to add some interest and dimension to the page.
The right hand page is from the winter, when my son joined some local boys in shoveling off the pond so that they could play some ice hockey. Remember those expensive ice hockey skates I bought him for Christmas two years ago? Well – the no longer fit, and all the boys were playing in their winter boots. I chose a photographic snowy background paper for this side and added a transparent sticker quote sheet to this page, and finished it out with some 3D stickers of snowmen and ice hockey gear.
