2011: Rocky Mountain National Park Hiking Trip – Elk

In the Summer of 2011, we took two vacations to Colorado. The first was with some friends to go hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park. This first spread serves as the introduction to a series of spreads that share pictures from this hiking vacation.
The Title Block on the top left-hand page was purchased at a local scrapbook store that I was able to visit on one of the days of the trip, as well as the collection of elk. I used my Cricut Machine to cut out the dates and the scrolls that are on the right-hand page.
I put the photos of some elk that we saw on one of the days on the right-hand page in a block and used a corner punch to round the edges of just the block.
Notice the small metal deer brad in the bottom right-hand corner. You will find one of these on each spread that showcases this hiking vacation trip. It is one of the methods that I use to help tie several spreads together within a larger album. See if you can find them on the next few pages.
