2019: Christmas in Coronado Island, California
I was fortunate enough to be able to go to a Higher Education Law Conference in San Diego, CA in December 2019. The conference was held at the Coronado Bay Resort, but I also had some opportunity to go up and see the Hotel Del, which is one of my favorite hotels in San Diego. These pictures are from those two locations.
The lefthand page are pictures from the Coronado Bay Resort, while those on the righthand page are from the Hotel Del. As you can see, both resorts were beautifully decorated for Christmas, with some amazing trees and large gingerbread houses! If you look carefully at the middle of the pictures on the righthand page, you will see a picture of a seagull. This guy kept looking at me through the window when I was participating in a zoom meeting back at work in Indiana. I thought that it was hilarious and had to take a picture to make sure that this guy ended up on this page!
I chose blue and silver Christmas background paper for this spread to match the beautiful blue skies in the pictures. While I matted the photographs on the lefthand page – I did not want to cover up the design in the middle of the background paper on the righthand side and so I mounted those directly to the background paper so that the design could be seen.
