2021: COVID-19 Vaccination

While this seems like ages ago, and in some ways it was, this was a pivotal moment in all of our lives – the moment that we were eligible to get our COVID-19 vaccinations and start a pathway to a new normalcy. Because this felt, and still feels, pivotal to me I wanted to make a scrapbook page about the event. I only have this one picture from the vaccination time as it was one that I posted to social media to encourage others to get their vaccination as soon as they could.
Since I had only one picture I wanted to fill the spread with images that would help to tell the story. All of the images, hospital symbol, syringes, COVID virus, and the title bar were on Cricut Design Studio, and were cut out using my Cricut machine. I used a double and triple wide border on the two pages to create more interest, and bordered the one picture with a triple mat using the same papers that are on the spread to help make it look bigger.
Moving forward, for most of my scrapbook creations I have also created videos that show me putting them together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
