2021: Christmas 2021
My son flew from Florida to Dallas to spend Christmas with us in Oklahoma. This spread is the first spread showcasing this amazing family time together. I chose green Christmas themed papers for this spread, and then chose the remaining colors to compliment.
The left-hand side shares pictures of me picking my son up from the airport. He flew American Airlines, so I used American Airlines colors to cut out the airplane using my Cricut machine. I used Cricut Design Space to create the custom border that goes around the photos and the airplane cutout. You will see a similar custom mat on the right side as well.
The right side has pictures of my son with all of our animals that really missed him and were happy to spend time with him, along with a gingerbread house that we made together. I used my Cricut machine to cut out the Santa and sleigh on this page.
My new practice is to create videos that show me putting the scrapbook spreads together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
