Germany 2017: Title Page
During Summer 2017 one of our Exchange Students, Luca, graduated from high school. I badly wanted to go and be there for it, but plane tickets were pretty expensive. One night I woke up in the middle of the night and thought that I should look for tickets and I found a round trip ticket from Chicago for $119! It had some weird layover locations – but it got me there for graduation so it was perfect. I should note that Luca did not know that I was coming – I arranged the whole thing with his mother to surprise him – and we were able to pull it off!
This is the Title page for the album memorializing this trip. The picture is from the professional shots taken at the graduation ceremony, and I was included as part of the family!
I chose an elegant graduation themed background paper, and then place adhesive backed plastic rhinestones on the page to add a little sparkle. I used a thick black border around the photograph to help it stand out significantly on the page.
I cut the title words using my Cricut machine, and then carefully used a glue pen to affix them to the page.
