50th Anniversary: Dollywood – Music

50th Anniversary: Dollywood – Music

50th Anniversary: Dollywood – Music
This spread highlights the music enjoyment from our day at Dollywood!  I chose two different music themed papers – using one as the background, and one for the torn edge.  The colors for the theme were driven by the yellow tickets, the gold jackets, and the blue in the uniforms.

The left page shows a bluegrass band that was playing in a gazebo, which my father particularly enjoyed.  The banjo that is on this side of the spread was cut using my Cricut machine.

The right hand page features Drumline Live at the Celebrity Theater.  I added the tickets from the event, as well as a drum cut using my Cricut machine.  The white of the drum was left for my mother to journal on later to explain this spread.  Notice that I put a butterfly in the bottom right to remind us of the theme of this entire album.

50th Anniversary: Dollywood – Music - 2nd AlbumSecond Album: This spread looks different in my album – mostly because I was moving faster than my family and was able to have time to take in the Dolly Parton Museum that is on site.  The pictures on the left hand page are from the museum, and those on the right are from the DrumLine performance.  I used the same background paper as above, but instead of music paper for the borders I used butterfly paper.  I also bordered the pictures in a burnt orange color to match the borders on the spread.   I purchased the Dollywood cutout at the local Scrapbook store.
