2010: Disney Animal Kingdom
My parents took my son to Disney’s Animal Kingdom during the first day of my conference. I will be honest – it was pretty hard to focus on the conference when I knew that they were out having fun!
For this spread I again used the Disney Scrapbook pack background paper for the left hand page as well as the Animal Kingdom photo frame. For the right hand page I did something that I had not done before – which is to cover the background paper fully with photos that my son took on this adventure. I wasn’t sure that I would like this – but I love the way that it turned out. It was a good way to get a lot of pictures onto one page.
My advice for Disney vacationers is to go to Animal Kingdom as soon as it is open – which is early in the morning – sometimes 6am. This is when they are feeding the animals and the animals are most lively. Later in the day, especially in warmer weather, the animals will be resting.
