2021: Spring Break 2021 – Da Kine Diego’s
One of our family traditions is to always try new restaurants and foods. My son shared with me that one of his favorite local places was Da Kine Diego’s in Satellite Beach, Florida. We were hungry so we decided that we would be first in line when they opened and I am glad that we did because a long line formed and we got our food first! If you are in the area this is a must experience eatery.
I used two beach background papers for this spread, but cut them in half so that the green would be on the outsides of the spread. The left-hand page has a menu that is affixed to the outside of the plastic page protector so that it can be opened by the viewer. I used Cricut Design Space to design the Title bar on this page, and cut it out using my Cricut machine. The photo is of the sticker collection that is all over the building.
The right-hand page has pictures of my son enjoying his burrito and a picture of the two of us in front of the road sign – does it look like I did a pretty good job a duplicating the sign? The right hand page also includes instructions on how to eat one of their burritos as well as a cardboard drink coaster that I saved for the scrapbook.
Moving forward, for most of my scrapbook creations I have also created videos that show me putting them together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
