2021: Spring Break 2021 – Bass Pro Shops
While on Spring Break I stayed at a hotel in Palm Bay, Florida which was a block away from the Palm Bay Bass Pro Shops location. This is one of our favorite stores (especially the one in Memphis, TN), and so we decided to stop in and visit this one. The Palm Bay location has an alligator pool outside the entrance along with some wild pigs which was a cool experience.
To make this spread I found the Bass Pro Shops logo online and then used Cricut Design Studio to manipulate it to just have the fish and the oval left for the cutout you see above. I used a 24×12 inch mat to cut it on my Cricut machine. I then created a mosaic of the pictures from the trip to fit within the oval. This was actually pretty hard to accomplish given the very thin amount of space that I had on the green oval. I then cut the whole project in two using my Fiskars circle blade cutter (see video below). I used some outdoor background paper to create the borders on this spread, and then added a few Jolee’s sticker pack fish to add a little more interest to the page.
Moving forward, for most of my scrapbook creations I have also created videos that show me putting them together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
