2018: Gatlinburg Vacation – Lumberjack Feud
One of the new attractions that we visited on our trip to Gatlinburg, TN was Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud. The attraction has an adventure park and a Lumberjack show. We were there in October on a cool and rainy day and there were not many people in the audience, which was cool for us as it meant that we got to participate quite a bit! In one of the pictures you can see my son holding one of the “prizes” which is a section of log that was handed out to members of the various teams.
It was easy to choose log paper for this spread to compliment the theme. In order to see as many of the logs as possible I decided to not add a border around the pictures on the right hand page. I used a plain brown for the two pictures on the left hand page.
The most time intensive part of this project was creating the “Lumberjack Feud” title bar. I was able to find a SVG file online of the logo, and using Cricut Design Space I was able to convert it into a cuttable file which I then cut out using my Cricut Machine. I had to be very careful putting it together so that the letters were perfectly spaced.
Can you find the metal pine tree brad that ties the spreads from this vacation together?
