2020: Christmas

Christmas 2020 was low key for us due to Covid-19. The vaccines had not yet come out and we were trying to be very careful. We put up our tree and had a small gift exchange. It was so low key that we completely forgot to take any pictures of our Christmas tree! I did get some great video of it but not any pictures. And then we realized that we didn’t take any pictures of Christmas Day other than the one that you see above!
Since I only had one Christmas picture, and Christmas is at the end of the year, I decided to make this the last page in the album which is why it is only one 12×12 page instead of two. I made the “Christmas” title using my Cricut Machine, and since it was Christmas, the theme had to be green and red, which also matches the pattern in my mother’s shirt in the picture.
I chose a patterned red background paper for this spread and then used several layers of antique print borders to create a Victorian Scrapbook look for this page. I very carefully cut out the poinsettia design from a larger page using a pair of very sharp pointed scissors. This poinsettia design matches the design on my mother’s shirt as well. The Christmas tree on the page is a Jolee’s 3D sticker from a Christmas collection.
