2021: Disney – Hollywood Studios – Galaxy’s Edge – Millenium Falcon
One of the main attractions at Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the Millenium Falcon which sits at the entrance to the Smuggler’s Run attraction. The photographic Galaxy’s Edge themed scrapbook paper used in the left-hand side as purchased at Scrap Your Trip, and the right-hand side background paper came from a Star Wars Pack that I purchased on Amazon. I bordered the photos in a thin white border to help them stand out against the busy background paper. It matches the white lines on the background paper on the right side.
The large cutout of the Millenium Falcon was created using the pen and cut feature of my Cricut machine. I purchased the SVG on Etsy as part of a Star Wars SVG pack. This took quite a while to draw because it is very intricate, but I think that it looks great. As it sits across both pages I cut it carefully, using a technique which you can watch in the video below. I like that the background paper, the photos, and the cutout are all of the same object.
Currently, for most of my scrapbook creations I have also created videos that show me putting them together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
