2011: Colorado Vacation
The summer of 2011 was exciting in that later in July Levi and I went to Colorado again for another trip! This time we flew as I was going to a conference in Denver. We stayed with some good friends who entertained Levi while I was at the meetings. But, since we were already there, we decided that we should have some adventures at the same time!
This spread is mostly an introduction to the trip. The left-hand page is on preprinted background paper that was left over from our Rocky Mountain National Park trip scrapbook pages, and I put two pictures of my son from the trip on that page. The right-hand page has pictures of our friend Jon and the campus that we stayed at with them. I rarely journal, and from this example you may be able to see why, but I thought that it was important to put context onto this page so that people would not think that it was part of the earlier trip.
I used double sided adhesive tape to place all of the pictures, and then I used my Crop-A-Dile Big Bite Punch to punch holes through the photos and background paper, and then inserted the brads through them. It made this look like we were putting photos up on a pin board.
