2016: Abraham Lincoln Tomb
The next stop on our tour was Springfield, IL to visit the President Lincoln sites.  We started the day at President Lincoln’s tomb.  For this spread I used a somber color scheme to display respect for the tomb site, including bordering the pages and the pictures in black.

I purchased copies of the Gettysburg address printed on aged paper, and then used my Cricut Machine to cut out the silhouette of President Lincoln for the left hand page.  For the edge borders I used a jagged edge tearing tool to tear straight lines.

We really enjoy President Lincoln’s legacy and have actually visited many sites related to him.  See below for scrapbook pages related to our trips to Lincoln sites:
